Brandon Truett is a Ph.D. Candidate in English at the University of Chicago and 2019-20 Doctoral Fellow at the Franke Institute for the Humanities. His writing has appeared or is forthcoming in the Grey Room, Los Angeles Review of Books, Hyperallergic, and Virginia Woolf Miscellany. He is currently completing a dissertation on the literary, visual, and material cultures of the Spanish Civil War from 1936 to the present.
