David Kaufmann, a graduate of Princeton and Yale Universities, has taught literature at George Mason University since 1989. He is the author of three books (the most recent being Reading Uncreative Writing (2017)), a number of articles, and several poems. He is presently working on a brace of essays about Wallace Stevens.
