Trevor Joyce co-founded New Writers’ Press in Dublin in 1967, and SoundEye in Cork in 1997. He held the Judith E Wilson Fellowship for poetry to the University of Cambridge for 2009/10, and in 2017 was named by previous winner, Tom Raworth, as the latest recipient of the biennial N. C. Kaser prize for poetry. His recent books include The Immediate Future (2013), Rome’s Wreck (2014), Selected Poems (2014), and Fastness (2017). He is a member of Aosdána.
